HAVE YOU HEARD? GOD'S OFFER OF SALVATION TO YOU!

THIS IS AN OFFER YOU CAN NOT RESIST! ACT NOW!

God's word tells us that "all have sinned and come short of the glory of God," (Romans 3:23) and that "the wages of sin is death." (Romans 6:23).  It also reveals to us the fact that "the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23).

"Christ died for our sins" (I Corinthians 15:3).
"Who his own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree." (I Peter 2:24).
"God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son, that whosever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting (eternal) life." (John 3:16).

You can not save yourself. Your righteousness or form of righteousness can not save you either. Comparing the righteousness of man to that of God is like comparing the light of a candle to the light of the sun.  In terms of standard, one pales in comparison to the other.

So how do I obtain salvation, attain God's standard of righteousness and be reconciled with God? Good question.  "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy He saved us" (Titus 3:5). "For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God; not of works, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:8,9).

How do I receive God's free gift? First, entreat the mercy of God. "God be merciful to me a sinner!" (Luke 18:13). That is the way each and every one must come to the Lord to be saved, for Christ died to save sinners. Give your life to Christ, acknowledge Him as your Lord and personal saviour in your heart, and confess the same with your mouth.

"........ repent, and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins." (Acts 2:38). Don't just be baptized. Be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, by immersion, for the sure remission of sins.

Next, receive the Holy Spirit.  "And you shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you." (Acts 1:8)

"Now is the day of salvation" (II Corinthians 6:2). "How shall we escape (condemnation) if we neglect so great salvation."  So act now. Tomorrow might be too late. If at all tomorrow comes, it comes as today, and today, "now is the day of salvation."  You are urged and encouraged in the name of our Lord Jesus, act now!
