HIS TRUTH AND NOTHING BUT HIS TRUTH: I INSIST

As children of God, we must realize that our responsibility to the Most High God Jehovah involves being responsible for the successful advancement of His kingdom on earth. He in turn will take on the responsibility of ensuring our success, breakthrough, advancement and promotion in all our endeavours.
No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon [money, possessions, fame, status, or whatever is valued more than the Lord]. Therefore I tell you, stop being worried or anxious (perpetually uneasy, distracted) about your life, as not what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, as to what you will wear.  Is life not more than food, and the body more than clothing? ........ For the [pagan] Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; [but do not worry,] for your Heavenly Father knows that you need them.  But first and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right - the attitude and character of God], and all these things will be given to you also.  So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. (Matthew 6:24-25, 32-34 AMP).

And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or farms for My name's sake will receive many times as much, and will inherit eternal life (Matthew 19:29 AMP).

Jesus said, "I assure you and most solemnly say to you, there is no one who has given up a house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or farms, for My sake and for the gospel's sake, who will not receive a hundred times as much now in the present age - houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and farms - along with persecutions; and in the age to come, eternal life (Mark 10:29-30 AMP).

To seek first the kingdom successfully and appropriately we need to put the fear of men and possible intimidation behind our back. Otherwise, obeying the LORD at all times, even at odd, inconvenient times may become an issue. Micaiah is a good example of the type of person a child of God is expected to be: God-fearing, bold, fearless, truthful, selfless, full of love for God (II Chronicles 18). One thing Micaiah is known for as a man of God is his commitment, zeal, seriousness, readiness when it comes to upholding the word of God and getting it across to the concerned authorities and appropriate individuals without mincing words. He would not mince his Spirit-of-God inspired words, neither would he take them back nor deviate from his rigid stand even when it was to the chagrin of king Ahab and the 400 'prophets'.

Did the LORD not assert that a prophet is without honour in his country and among his own kinsman?
So they were offended at Him.  But Jesus said to them, "A prophet is not without honour except in his own country and in his own house" (Matthew 13:57 NKJV).
Despite the prowess, steadfastness and faithfulness of Micaiah towards the word of God, he made more fiends than friends. He was hated by the king and despised of the false prophets. All because he refused to frame a prophetic utterance to suit king Ahab's decision to go to war. Ahab's decision was not in line with the will of the Most High God Jehovah.  The Lord Jesus is an excellent model of how a true servant of God operates.  He stated that
The words I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works (John 14:10 NKJV).

Micaiah was slapped by one of the false prophets for declaring to king Ahab that "the LORD has spoken evil against you" (II Chronicles 18:22 KJV). To make matters worse for Micaiah (or so it seemed, and so it usually appears to be initially for individuals who stand for the truth of the Lord), Ahab ordered him to be placed under house arrest "until I return (from the military expedition which was contrary to the will of God) in peace" (II Chronicles 18:26). He returned quite alright, not in peace but in pieces as a corpse. Micaiah was right then when he said to Ahab before the former was placed under house arrest, "if you certainly return in peace, then has not the LORD spoken by me" (II Chronicles 18:27 KJV). Did the scriptures not state that the LORD is the God who confirms the words of His servants and performs the prophecies of His messengers?

But when My servant makes a prediction, when I send a messenger to reveal My plans, I make those plans and predictions come true (Isaiah 44:26 Good News Translation - GNT).

I will make the message of My prophets come true (Isaiah 44:26 Contemporary English Version - CEV).

Believe in the LORD your God, and you shall be established (and not demolished); believe His prophets (or prophecies, revelation knowledge of the truth of His word), and you shall prosper (and not wither)" (II Chronicles 20:20 NKJV).

Put your trust in the LORD your God and you will endure. Put your trust in His prophets, and succeed (II Chronicles 20:20 NASB).

Now for the big question:

............How many times shall I adjure you that you say nothing but the truth.......... in the name of the LORD" (II Chronicles 18:15 KJV).

Answer: AT ALL TIMES, AT ALL PLACE, NO MATTER WHAT, AND COME WHAT MAY. Do not entertain fear at all. Remember, "but the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burnt with fire and brimstone: which is the second death (Revelations 21:8 KJV). Only God, and God only should be feared as commanded by the LORD Himself.

And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell .......... Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows (Matthew 10:28, 31 NKJV).

And I say to you, My friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.  But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear Him who, after He has killed, has power to cast into hell; yes, I say to you, fear Him! Are not five sparrows sold for two copper coins? And not one of them is forgotten before God. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows. Also I say to you, whoever confesses Me before men, him the Son of Man also will confess before the angels of God.  But he who denies Me before men will be denied before the angels of God (Luke 12:4-9 NKJV).

Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and shall say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you. You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavour, how shall it be seasoned? It is good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. You are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven" (Matthew 5:10-16 NKJV).

None can do anything harmful to you because "He allowed no man to oppress them; He rebuked kings for their sakes, saying, Do not touch My anointed ones, And do My prophet (child) no harm" (Psalm 105:14-15 AMP).

For the LORD of Hosts says this: "He sent Me for His glory against the nations who are plundering you, for anyone who touches the pupil of His eye.  I will move against them with My power, and they will become plunder for their own servants.  Then you will know that the LORD of Hosts has sent Me (Zechariah 2:8-9 HCSB).

Have no fear in doing all He expects of you, "teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you.  And remember, I am with you to the end of the age" (Matthew 28:20 HCSB). Regardless of any circumstance, you've got to maintain your stand on the word of God, in the will of God, and on the truth of His promises and prophecies again and again. Get to know His will. Get to know the truth. Pray to Him for strength to identify His truth and stand on them. Compromise? NEVER! NEVER!! Oh no NEVER!!!

All that has been read so far may seem to you like wagon loads of preaching and unnecessary marathon of epistles. But they are expedient if you are to be what God expects, wants and is anointing you to be in this end-time. And don't start murmuring and disputing so "that you may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world; holding forth the word of life:....... (Philippians 2:14-16 KJV)

...........but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits (Daniel 11:32 KJV).

....... but the people who are [are spiritually mature and] know their God will display strength and take action [to resist].  Those where wise and have spiritual insight among the people will instruct many and help them understand ....... (Daniel 11:32,33 AMP).

Hold fast the form of sound words, which you have heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. That good thing which was committed unto thee keep by the Holy Ghost which dwells in us (II Timothy 1:13-14 NKJV).

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think (meditate 'n prayer) on these things. Those things, which you have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you." (Philippians 4:8-9 KJV)

In JESUS' name, AMEN!
